Monday, Feb. 29, 2016 Gee, M. Today we picked up a handout on the Selective Service Act. We read this handout out and then wrote an essay describing if we thought the draft was fair. The essay was three paragraphs. The first was background about the Selective Service Act and the draft, the second was about the pros and cons of the draft and the third was about whether we thought it was fair or not. After this week discussed it a little. Remember we have a test on Thursday, March 3 and note books are due that day also!!
Tuesday, March 1, 2016 Gee, M. Today we took notes on different aspects of WWI including things like civil rights and minorities. Remember we have a test on Thursday, March 3rd and notebooks are also due!
Wednesday, March 2, 2016 Gee, M. Today we had one pick up. It was a graphic organizer labeled "The U.S. in World War I". We finished notes on minorities and then watched a crash course video. After the video we filled in some of the graphic organizer. The rest is to be done for homework. Our until test is tomorrow, Thursday, March 3. Notebooks are due tomorrow!
Thursday, 3/3 Reviewer: K. Jones, 2 Unit Test Classwork: Today we had our Unit Test on WWI and turned in our notebooks after the test. Then we received our next vocabulary list on the 1920's. Homework: Remember to finish ten vocabulary words over the weekend for Monday. Reminders: Our next vocabulary quiz is on Thursday, March 10.
Friday, 3/4 Reviewer: L. Pan, 2 Pick-ups: Chapter 12 - Section 1 worksheet Classwork: Read pages 412-418 in the textbook and after reading complete Chapter 12 -Section 1 questions. Homework: Complete at least TEN vocabulary words by Monday, 3/7. Reminders: Upcoming vocabulary test on Thursday, 3/10.
