Monday, 3/21 S. Nelsen, 2 Teacher Planning Day Today was a teacher planning day so we weren't assigned any work. However, we should be working on our vocab notebooks for our upcoming quiz on Thursday, 3/24. School on Tuesday as usual.
Wednesday, 3/23 E. Shoemaker,2 The Roaring Twenties In class: Continue taking notes on the 1920s and begin to discuss the Harlem Renaissance. We received our grades for our History Fair project. Announcements: Study for vocab. quiz Thursday, 3/24. Take home History Fair boards by Friday, 3/25.
Thursday, 3/24 S. Nelsen, 2 The Roaring Twenties Assignments collected: Vocab notebook for vocab quiz #7. Class activities: Vocab quiz #7. After the quiz we got our new vocab for the Great Depression and New Deal and began looking up the pages numbers for the terms. Then we were placed into groups where we began working on a poster on the "bright" and "dark" side of the 1920s. Important dates: History fair boards need to be taken out of the classroom by Friday, 3/24. Vocab quiz #8 is next Thursday, 3/31.
Friday, 3/25 T. Darby, 2 The Roaring Twenties Class Activities: Split into yesterday's groups and continue working on a poster depicting the bright and dark sides of the 1920s. Important Dates/Announcements: History fair boards need to be removed from the classroom today. For homework, vocab can be done on a separate sheet of paper and stapled into the vocab notebook when we get it back. Vocab Quiz #8 will be next Thursday, 3/31, and vocab notebooks will be due.
Sunday, 3/27 T. Darby, 2 Upcoming Week Prepare for presentation of the Roaring Twenties posters this week. Vocab Quiz #8 will be this Thursday, 3/31, and vocab notebooks will be due.
