Today we had one pick up and started class with questions in the textbook that we answered in our notebooks. It was titled "WWII Begins" in our notebooks and the questions were on page 525 # 3-5. After we finished discussing this, we pulled out the handout we picked up and folded it. We began writing notes on the subject but only started, not finished. Remember we are on a special schedule all week because of FSA testing!

    World War II Presentation.
Chapter 16 (begins on pg. 528).
No assignments collected but make sure to continue working on vocab.
    P/U a half-sheet map titled "German Advances".
In class today, we began by taking out the Axis Powers foldable from Monday, and on the bottom half under the flags, we took notes from pages 530 and 531 about the ways Hitler and Mussolini controlled the people and what their plans were for their futures in power. We then took notes on the United States' response to WWII and answered questions 3, 4, and 5 on pg. 541. The questions should be labeled "Section 2 - Activity 1" and should go under your notes from today.
Important dates/reminders - Finish the questions on pg. 541 if you did not finish in class. Also, Vocab Quiz #9 is on Thursday! Remember, we are on a special schedule this week so be on time!

Nice post! Don't forget, if you're in need of a new notebook, Ms. Mccarron might have some left in her classroom for sale ($2 each).

    Vocab and the Holocaust.
Chapter 16 (begins on pg. 528).
Vocab Notebooks were collected and the Holocaust worksheet was checked and stamped if complete.
    No materials were distributed.
In class today, we began with Mr. Babbitt checking the Holocaust worksheet. Then, we turned in our vocab notebooks and took Vocab Quiz #9 on World War II. After the quiz, we discussed the Holocaust worksheet and answered review questions #3, 4, and 5 on page 557. This can be titled Activity 2 and should go under your most recent notes or on the next clean right. Make sure to write the questions and the answers.
Reminders - Make sure to be in class Friday, Monday, and Tuesday! We will be working on a DBQ.

    World War II
Mr. Babbit allowed time in the beginning of class to glue in the various handouts that were distributed in class: (pg. 1: notebook rubric, pg. 3: "The Century America's Time" Video Sheet, pg. 6 map half sheet on the top half of the page, pg. 5: foldable, and pg. 7: "The Holocaust" worksheet).
In class we took notes on Great Britain in battle in WWII and did Activity 2 in the textbook.
The vocab Quiz is tomorrow, Thursday (4/14), meaning the vocab notebook is due as well.

    Begin DBQ
We started our DBQ with Mr. Babbitt that was given to us in the beginning of class. We went over the title and the background reading followed by answering and discussing the questions that came with it. We also filled out categories for our DBQ essay on one of the pages. We began but did not finish the first Document A in the DBQ packet, just told to read it. The DBQ was collected at the end of the class.
Reminders: Make sure you're here Monday and Tuesday to work on the DBQ with the class!
