Monday, 12/7 S. Nelsen, 2 History Fair Materials distributed: Ledger paper for HF mural Class activities: Lecture on HF. We took notes on a left page on how to use NoodleTools and we discussed linoit and the mural in general. Important dates: 12/10 (Thursday) our HF mural is due. This includes our bibliography (at least 5 primary and 5 secondary sources) and an artist's statement. See Ms. McCarron with any concerns/questions regarding HF.
Tuesday, 12/8 S. Nelsen, 2 Andrew Carnegie Materials distributed: DBQ packet on Andrew Carnegie Class activities: Reading/discussion. We finished reading "Was Andrew Carnegie a Hero" and marked parts in the text that fit the definition of hero or not a hero. Then we started to discuss documents one and two of the DBQ. Important dates: 12/10 (Thursday) our HF mural is due along with the bibliography and artist's statement.

Thursday, 12/10 C. Martin 2 Vocabulary We got our vocabulary notebooks back and disscussed a few mistake that we made as a class that we need to improve on. We then got a list of new terms that will be due Monday 12/14!
Friday, 12/11 C. Martin, 2 Mural/vocabulary Today in class, Ms. McCarron showed us how to correctly staple our artist statement and our annotated bibliography to our mural and then we turned it in. After that we continued to work on our new vocabulary terms and she also passed out the list of our terms.
Wednesday, 12/11 T. Stansbury 2 Notes/Mural Today in class we took notes on Industrial empires and their effect on the U.S. during the Golden Age. We also took notes on inventors and the inventions that impacted society during the Golden Age. Mural due date was pushed back from Thursday 12/10 to Friday 12/11 Make sure to bring authors statement, annotated bibliography, and mural on Friday 12/11 or for extra credit on Thursday 12/10
Wednesday 12/11 Reviewer: L. Wilburn, 2 Good Post Important dates: Extra credit assignments due to Turnitin on Monday 12/14. If you did not turn in your mural, get it in by Monday (or face failing).
