Monday, 4/4 K. Jones, 2 FDR and The New Deal In Class: We picked up our graded vocabulary notebooks and then started off the notes with the oppressors of The New Deal. Then we read about African American Activism in our textbooks on page 505. We continued to take notes on FDR and at the end of class we finished setting up our notebooks. Homework: Get started on Vocabulary List #9 and study for the Unit Test on Wednesday. Reminders: Test on Wednesday. Battle of the Bands on Friday. Bring an electronic device with wifi for Tuesday.
Monday, 4/5 K. Jones 2 Test Review Today we picked up a graphic organizer and filled out the main events of the Roaring Twenties and The Great Depression. We also participated in a class review game on kahoot.it, where first, second, and third places earned extra credit. Homework: Study for the Unit Test tomorrow and finish putting together your notebooks to turn in. Reminders: There will be a vocabulary quiz next week (4/14). Battle of the Bands is on Friday.

Wednesday, 4/6 K. Jones, 2 Unit Test Today we had a couple minutes to review our notes and then we took or unit test on the Roaring Twenties and The Great Depression. We had 10 minutes to use our notebooks on our test and when we finished we had to turn in our notebooks and get started on the vocabulary list that will be due next week. Homework: Work on vocabulary list 6. Reminders: Battle of the Bands on Friday. There will be a vocabulary quiz next week (4/14).
Wednesday 4/13 A Crawford, 2 World War 2 Today in class we did activity 1 section 2 main ideas. We also took notes on WWII and the holocaust. We watched a short clip about the holocaust. Homework: Don't forget to finish your vocab. Reminder: Quiz is tomorrow, Thursday 4/14.

Classwork: We watched a video "Over the Edge 1936-1941" and to go along with the video there was a worksheet handed out to be answered during the video.
